Stuttering is a speech disorder interrupting the flow of speech. Some common signs are:
- Repetitions of sounds and/or words,
- prolonging sounds,
- blocking sounds.
Treatment in the pre school years is essential as stuttering can become more difficult to treat with age.
If you think your child is stuttering, an assessment is recommended as soon as possible.
Appointments are available on a Saturday morning with Rachael Unicomb.
